More about high school graduation

Not only do the students go around wearing their hats, there is a tradition of getting a truck, bus, or carriage so they can drink and be driven around to each students' neighborhood and from party to party.  Everyone else honks and waves and remembers what it was like to be in that hat.

    Hej Judith
    The newly graduating highschool students start in the morning from their Gymnasium/highschool (after a ceremony there). In their 'wagons' they visit all the parents. They jump in for a snack and a drink at each home and off they go again. It's a big thing for both parents and the young ones. (Kærlig hilsen Vibeke)
